Our focus: a thriving leisure economy for visitors, unique meeting and conference locations for business visitors and Haarlem residents as ambassadors.

We are committed to enticing visitors to visit Haarlem. For a midweek, weekend away, vacation or business visit. We also focus on repeat visitors from the region and bleisure visitors. We launch campaigns and use a mix of our promotional tools, both online and offline, to achieve the desired reach and maximum visibility.

Haarlem Marketing contributes to the objectives with vision and a multi-year strategy. To this end, we translate the municipal ambition into goals for the marketing of Haarlem. Our ambition is to improve and expand the position of Haarlem nationally and internationally as a destination. In addition, we focus on residents and entrepreneurs in the city. We focus on our pillars and core values.

Haarlem Marketing consists of a compact team of enthusiastic & driven professionals.
With expertise in the field of online and offline marketing and communications, we have the necessary knowledge regarding content creation, design, project management, strategy, social media and advertising.

Annual and multi-year plan

Our core values and focus on the four pillars underlie all our activities. In our multi-year plan, we analyze and describe our strategy, goals, target groups and starting points. Each year we translate this into a work plan, which specifically states what we are going to do that year and when. Our plans fit well with the Tourist Board of the municipality of Haarlem and the Citymarketing Memorandum. 

Future

Haarlem is one of the pearls of North Holland. A place where urban allure and the human touch go hand in hand. Here there is still time for a personal chat. It is rightly the capital of the province. Close to nature you will find a wide variety of museums, restaurants and stores. This historic city deserves to be highlighted nationally and internationally. We work hard at that, every day.

At the basis of all our activities is our multi-year strategy 2022-2024. In it we describe our goals, target groups and the principles of our strategy. Every year we translate this into an annual plan. This describes in concrete terms what we are going to do that year. Our plans are consistent with the Tourist Heading of the municipality of Haarlem.
